Tranquil Setting and Modern Comforts

A private graveled path leads through the yard to the river, where you can fish, swim, tube, or just relax and take in the scenery. Wildlife abounds in the area. Many deer and turkeys frequent the area, as do all kinds of songbirds. You may even get to see the eagles that nest nearby!
The cabin features modern amenities, including a gas fireplace, a jetted jacuzzi tub, and a private hot tub under a gazebo. Gather around the large firepit for campfires and stargazing. A canoe is provided for your river adventures (life vests are provided for 1 child and 2 adults).

Explore the wonders of the area, starting with the world-famous Luray Caverns and its golf course, just 10 minutes away. Locally, there are shopping centers that contain a Walmart, Food Lion, and a Smart Shopper for your grocery needs.
Browse through the charming antique stores and shops in town. The Shenandoah National Park, only 13.7 miles from the property, offers scenic drives, breathtaking overlooks, hiking trails, picnicking spots, and trail rides for both adults and children. Experience the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, including views of the Skyline Drive.

Cozy and Pet-Friendly

Relax in comfort at "The Shuck" with its newly furnished interior, gas fireplace, and spacious deck for sun-worshiping and wildlife-watching. Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $20 per pet/per day, so you can bring your furry friends along. Please keep them off beds and sofas. Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin but is allowed on the deck and property. An ashtray is provided.

Reminder

Please remember that the road to the cabin is gravel as we are in the countryside. Additionally, please be aware that insects are active during the warm months, and there may be snow and ice during the winter months if you plan to book at that time.

This cozy retreat features 3 queen bedrooms and 2 full baths and offers a fully equipped kitchen (with pots, pans, dishes, silverware baking sheets, a coffee pot, and crock pot), washer and dryer, central air and heat, and a gas fireplace. Relax in the jacuzzi tub or unwind in the hot tub located outside under a canopy. Enjoy the spacious living room and dining area, both offering comfortable seating options.
